5. What Happens After You Submit a Notice

Once we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:

1. Acknowledge receipt of your notice within 2 business days
2. Review the claim to confirm it meets all DMCA requirements
3. Remove or disable the infringing content as quickly as possible, typically within 5–10 business days
4. Notify the content provider that the content has been removed due to a copyright claim
5. Provide the content provider with an opportunity to submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was in error

6. Counter-Notice Process

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

• Your full name and contact information
• Identification of the content that was removed and its original location on OnTrick.xyz
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake
• Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
• Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

OnTrick.xyz takes a firm stance against repeat copyright infringement. We operate a strict repeat infringer policy:

• Users or content providers who receive two or more valid DMCA notices will have their content permanently removed from our platform
• Accounts associated with repeated infringement may be suspended or permanently banned
• We maintain records of all DMCA notices received and actions taken

8. False DMCA Notices

Please be aware that submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice is a serious legal matter. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA:

• Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that content is infringing may be liable for damages
• This includes any costs and attorney fees incurred by the alleged infringer or OnTrick.xyz as a result of a false claim
• We reserve the right to seek legal remedies against those who submit fraudulent DMCA notices

9. Game Developer Rights

OnTrick.xyz works with game developers and publishers to host HTML5 browser games. If you are a game developer and would like your game removed from our platform for any reason including copyright concerns:

• Email us at legal@ontrick.xyz with the game name and your proof of ownership
• We will remove your game within 5 business days of verifying your claim
• We respect all developer rights and will act promptly on all legitimate removal requests

10. Limitation of Liability

OnTrick.xyz acts as a platform host and is not responsible for content uploaded or embedded by third parties. We comply with DMCA safe harbour provisions under 17 U.S.C. § 512 and will not be held liable for infringing content provided we act promptly upon receiving valid takedown notices.
